Short version: we collect what we need to do the work and talk to you about it, and we do not sell any of it.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email address and the property address, because we cannot quote or schedule without them. Whatever you tell us about the job. Photographs of the work, before and after. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and we never see or store a full card number.
On the website itself we collect standard analytics: pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which search or link brought you. We do not build a profile of you across other websites.
Why we have it
To quote the work, schedule it, turn up at the right address, invoice for it, and keep a service history so the next visit knows what the last one did. If you have agreed to it, to send seasonal reminders about your own property.
Phone calls and our automated assistant
Our phone line and text messages are answered by an automated assistant that works with our office. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we have an accurate record of what you asked for, and every call begins by telling you so.
The assistant is run by our technology provider. It may use records from our system to improve the assistant, but only after removing names, phone numbers, addresses and anything else that identifies you, and never your voice recording.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers that make the service work: the technology provider that runs our office system and phone assistant, the messaging carrier that delivers a text, the email provider that sends an estimate, the payment processor that takes a card, and our accountant. Each one sees only what it needs. None of them may use your details for their own purposes.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anybody, and we never share a mobile number or a text-message consent with a third party for marketing.
How long we keep it
Service and invoice records for seven years, because tax law requires it. Marketing preferences until you change them. If you ask us to delete everything we are not legally required to keep, we will.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text and the texts stop. Use the unsubscribe link on any marketing email and those stop. Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it within thirty days.
Children
This is a service for property owners. We do not knowingly collect anything from anybody under sixteen.
